DAVID L. PARKS, MD
Dr. Parks has earned a reputation as one of the best ear, nose, and throat surgeons in the area, having practiced in the Marietta area for over twenty years. After receiving his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he completed his doctorate in medicine at the Medical College of Georgia and a general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency there as well. Dr. Parks is board-certified in Otolaryngology and has added onto a solid foundation of training over the years, staying abreast of each of the various subspecialties within the field by being active in the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons, and the Georgia Otolaryngology Society. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the Cobb County Medical Society. Dr. Parks has taken an active role in helping plan for the future medical needs of the area as a board member of the Kennestone Cancer Program and an advisor for the planned new hospital in Hiram, and he is also active in medical philanthropy.
